Mrs. Betty Zormelo

Betty is the Managing Director at Zormelo & Associates and is responsible for Human Resource Consulting. She is a seasoned HR Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience locally and internationally. She worked as a Training Manager with British Rail, a Principal Consultant for Deloitte & Touche, and until joining Zormelo and Associates was Head of Human Resource Operations, Barclays Africa.

Prior to this, Betty was the HR Director for Barclays Bank of Ghana, Regional Head of HR for Northern Africa and Functional HR Business Partner at Barclays Africa Regional Office in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is an expert in both strategic and operational HR issues. She holds a Pg Dip Human Resource Management from the University of West London, an MSc, Economics from the University of London, and an LLB from the University of Ghana and was called to the Ghana Bar in 1988. She has been a member of the Institute of Personnel Development, UK since 1996.
